While working on my Master of Arts in Teaching, I completed two semesters of field experience:
During winter 2014, I was a pre-student teacher of U.S. history and U.S. government at Sterling Heights High School in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
During fall 2014, I was a student teacher of Grade 7 language arts at Bryant Middle School in Dearborn, Michigan.
My Capstone Conversation highlights the work I did during these field experiences. The Capstone Conversation is a discussion that takes place at the end of student teaching. The contents of my Capstone Conversation provide evidence that I am an effective urban educator who is reflective, innovative, and committed to diversity. It also provides evidence that I have met the ten InTASC Model Core Teaching Standards. Examples of student work and my lesson plans are available at the Capstone Conversation page.
