Marketing and Communications

From 2008 – 2014, I worked at the Wayne State University College of Engineering’s Office of Marketing and Communications as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. My work at the college included:

  • Creating content for print and web-based internal and external communications, such as magazines, brochures and newsletters
  • Preparing and supervising the production of print publications, such as magazines, brochures, and newsletters
  • Assisting in the planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
  • Maintaining the college’s social media presence
  • Updating and maintaining the college’s website
  • Representing the college at various industry, alumni and recruitment events
